Sutton Coldfield Photographic Society based in the West Midlands, and Meets Tuesdays 7.30pm till approx 10.00pm, with a break for coffee, tea or chocolate at approx 8.30pm.

The Sutton Coldfield Photographic Society has been running since 1939 and is at present meeting on Tuesdays at the Friends Meeting Hall, Kenelm Rd, close to Sutton Coldfield Town Center. We meet between September and April, and then have afternoon outings during summer, also an annual outing usually in July.

We always welcome new members of all ages, beginners and experienced, to join the Society.

The societies Tuesday evening provides a full program of lectures and competitions that build up to a 3-way competition between Tamworth and Lichfield photographic societies. Joining the society provides a great way of improving your photography, you don't have to enter competitions, but everyone is encouraged to do so no matter what level you are at. Listening to lecturers and judges is a good way to learn and improve your skills.

Our competitions include Prints digital and traditional, colour or black and white, slides and digital projected Images.

The society was awarded by Sutton Coldfield Municipal Charities the money to purchase a digital projector last year, which was used to great success albeit with some slight colour tunning problems.
